How can I possibly know that top country singers make better lovers, I hear you ask?
There is no statistical evidence that I know of to support my argument. But I ask you to get out of the box that your formal education and the media have placed you in, and think laterally for a moment.
Don’t think in terms of empirical or statistical evidence, please think like a normal human being. Listen to your heart and your gut feeling.
For a moment let’s consider the lyrics of country music songs. They are either poetic, as in John Denver’s “Annie’s Song”, or they tell as story as in Willie Nelson’s “City of New Orleans” or Johnny Cash’s “Boy Named Sue”.
For a long time I never asked myself what I enjoyed about country music, it was enough that I enjoyed the sound. Then I gradually noticed the stories (and that’s another thing I like about country music, you can hear the words).
The stories in country music songs are real “slice of life” - sometimes sad, sometimes happy. This is not surprising when you consider how many country singers come from the Gospel and Blues belt of Southern USA.
But I find that country music songs tend to have a much stronger and more complete story line than blues or gospel songs.
Now, at last, I get to my point about top country singers making better lovers. I have been told by various female acquaintances of mine that, in their opinions, men who have lived a life full of escapades and experienced at first hand a full range of emotions, make better lovers. This would seem to make sense to me because they have learned to express emotions.
Country music songs express a tremendous range of emotions. The best singers are the ones who can write and interpret those emotions in their singing. In order to be able to express the emotions as well as they do they must have lived through a good range of escapades.
My case is that these hard living, top country singers must therefore be better lovers.
